All interviews will be conducted via virtually through Zoom. Please review your ERAS interview invitation for further instructions on time, date and virtual interview links.
Upon receiving your virtual interview link, a member of the faculty will join and conduct the interview accordingly to the allotted time slot.
For confidentiality and to reduce bias, all video virtual interviews will NOT be recorded. We also ask that applicants do NOT record their interview sessions.
We are conducting virtual interviews weekly. This is subject to change, specific times will be announced soon.
Rotating members of our faculty will be interviewing candidates. Expect 2 interviews from core faculty.
We anticipate based on technical setup and bandwidth, each individual interview to last up to 15 minutes.
Yes, as an applicant invited to interview, your invitations has dates for virtual Meet and Greet that you are able to partake. Please email Marisol, our program coordinator if you have questions.

Yes, upon our GME department's approval, an on-campus tour of hospital and clinic can be granted.
You are able to amend your interview date up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled interview time/date on ERAS. Please contact Marisol, our program coordinator.
As a medical school graduate not in a training program, you cannot “moonlight” by working in a physician’s private office or clinic in the state of California.
Graduates unable to gain admission into an accredited training program cannot gain clinical experience by working in a physician’s private office or clinic as a trainee or “physician assistant.”
Graduates can be employed as a medical assistant in a physician’s office as long as they:
Do not represent themselves as a medical doctor.
Do not exceed the duties specified in B&P Code sections 2069-2071.
Do not exceed the duties specified in Title 16, California Code of Regulations, sections 1366-1366.4.
